Which usually means asian. So I made my first steamed dumplings ever. I bought a bambo; o steamer on my way home from work. Bought the ingredients only to realize the recipe made 48 of the little suckers! so now I've got more then a weeks worth o lunch. And they're tiny. Only 1 point each.... I won't tell you how many i ate tonight to quality test them and they aint half bad. They were Pork & Jicama. which btw is the strangest damn veggie i have ever encountered. It's like some potato apple mutant love child... Oh and I made braised Eggplant w/ oyster sauce and I tossed arrow root into it. CRAZY STARCHY VEGGIE!! On a side note, good lord i wish Isis would stop licking my face like some deranged leeza flavored lollipop....
Ok back to cooking, yea so I think I would like to make a vinegary arrowroot, jicama, crab salad and serve it cold. Working in an Asian neighborhood is going to be the death of me...Shades of::  tired

Sorry! I used premade dumpling skins I bought at Hmart.
it's 1/2 lb ground chicken or pork, 1/2 cup diced jicama, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy suace, ground ginger and just stirred then a tablespoon dropped into each skin. I steamed mine for 10-20 minutes. E-mail me and I'll give you the recipe better
